About Us

Walk the Fish is a single-panel cartoon series about people taking things far too calmly.

The worlds in these cartoons are usually falling apart in some obvious way. Nobody seems especially alarmed. Someone explains the process. Everyone nods.

That’s the joke.

It’s created by Jeff Mugleston, who enjoys placing modern language and tidy systems into places they absolutely should not be, then seeing how politely everything collapses. He keeps the setups simple: one moment, one idea, one line of dialogue doing all the work.

The humor isn’t loud or chaotic. It comes from restraint, timing, and the uneasy feeling that someone, somewhere, is still following a checklist. The cartoons aim to read quickly, linger a little, and then land somewhere quietly absurd.

If you like situations where professionalism survives long past common sense, you’re in the right place.
